Pumpkin Carving with Goats Begins Sept 21st!
Autumn wouldn't be complete without the quintessential pumpkin treats - pies, spice, and our annual Pumpkin Carving with Goats event at Pactamere Farm. This fall festival promises a bounty of gourds, friendly farm animals, and festive decorations.
Head to Pactamere's brand new pumpkin patch to select the perfect pumpkin, then head into the pasture to carve or paint alongside the farm's adorable, nibbling goats. All necessary tools, paints, and brushes will be provided.
In addition to the goats, you'll have the chance to meet other Pactamere residents, including two mini pigs (Johnny & June) and our fluffy alpaca crew, all eager for attention and treats. After carving, take your pumpkin and seeds home in a provided plastic bag.
To keep you fueled for the fun, hot cider, cocoa, and snacks will be available for purchase, with a cozy bonfire perfect for making s'mores. Brave visitors can even venture into the haunted "Boo Barn" for a spooky good time.
Tickets are online-only, with farm entry at $15 per person and pumpkins ranging from $8-$16. Children 2 and under get in free. The event runs from September 21st through October 31st, with limited arrival time slots to ensure an enjoyable experience. Rain or shine, the pumpkin carving will move indoors if needed. No refunds or outside pumpkins allowed.

Unwind from the stressful work week and come connect with nature. Our one-hour goat yoga class is taught by a certified yoga instructor and offers a deeply rewarding, light-hearted and unique experience. The instructor will take you through a sequence of poses, while adorable dwarf goats jump, prance, play and kiss all over you.
*This event space is heated during the colder months.
Friday Paint Night with Goats
During this 2 hr class, our fabulous art instructor, will help guide you into painting a masterpiece, inspired by 24 adorable dwarf goats!

Ready to learn the art of making delicious goat cheese? Come spend the day with us at Pactamere Farm and get hands-on experience crafting delicious goat cheeses. Our expert instrucor will guide you through the process from start to finish, with lots of tasting along the way!r whether you’re a cheese enthusiast or just looking for a fun activity, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels.
You’ll enjoy 16 acres of pastures along with lots of fun farm animals, food truck, concessions, bounce house and more!
Goat Soap Felting Workshop & goat Cuddles - Sunday
In this workshop you will learn how to wet and needle felt goat milk soap with alpaca fibers to to create your own goat soap loofas! By the end you will have have a two gorgeous felted soaps to take away with you.
We will have a short break in the middle for tea/coffee or hot cocoa and cookies.
Some of our Nigerian dwarf goats will accompany you in the class and give you plenty of cuddles and laughs.

Goat Grams
Come connect with nature and baby Nigerian dwarf goats! Our one hour goat yoga class is taught by a certified yoga instructor and offers a deeply rewarding, light hearted and unique experience. The instructor will take you through a sequence of poses, while adorable baby goats jump, prance, play and kiss all over you. This class is suitable for all levels; from first timers to advanced yogis. Bring your love for animals, sense of humor and exercise clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
Plan to arrive at 11:15am to register and spend time playing with goats, taking selfies and mingling. Yoga class begins 11:30 in our heated barn and lasts one hour. Easy flow class for all levels and abilities.

Whether it's a special occasion or just because, sending a goat gram is an amazing surprise! Our 3 goat ambassadors love attention and cuddles and will shower you with tons of it!
The recipient (and let's face it - everyone stopping to stare) gets to feed, pet, and take photos with the adorable dwarf goats for either a 30min or 1 hour visit.
Goat Yoga RVA will snap and print your photo and leave you with a photo magnet to keep.

Our Goat yoga is held in our open air covered barn space.
This is a rain or shine event so please read our refund policy before purchasing tickets.
A full brunch will be served after class.

Goat Yoga RVA is hosting a paint night that is sure to bring tons of smiles, laughs, creativity and FUN!
During this 1.5 hr class, our art instructor will help guide you into painting a masterpiece, inspired by 16 adorable baby goats! Class starts at 7pm.

CLASSES START APRIL 1, 2023!
Is your kiddo an animal lover? Have you heard about goat yoga? This class is a parent/child class (one parent per two children).
Our certified yoga instructor will teach a 30-minute kids goat yoga class with guided movement and songs followed by playtime and snuggles for 30 minutes afterwards. Your visit at Goat Yoga RVA will be photographed throughout to document your special time together! Digital packages and prints will be available for purchase.
What to expect:
Please arrive 10 minutes before class.
Bring water bottle and shirt that covers shoulders and back.
After class, feel free to meet our other animals, grab a snack and enjoy the farm!

Workshop:
In this workshop you will learn how to apply pure alpaca fibres to goat's milk soap, before being taken through the wet felting process. By the end you will have 2 beautiful felted soaps to take away with you. We will have a short break in the middle for tea/coffee or hot cocoa and cookies.
Our herd of Nigerian goat kids will accompany you in the class and give you plenty of cuddles and laughs. You might have a goat or two showing off thier table jumping skills in the process. :)
This workshop is suitable for beginners or those who already have some experience of felting. It is also suitable for accompanied children age 6+.
***Suitable for ages 6 and up. Due to the limited seating, ALL participants must purchase a ticket for the event.
