Felted Christmas ornament workshop at the farm

In this delightful class, you'll have the opportunity to craft your very own festive Christmas ornaments using the soft, luxurious fleece from the instructor's very own alpaca herd. Under their expert guidance, you'll learn the time-honored art of felting, transforming the fluffy alpaca fibers into charming ornaments that will add a touch of rustic elegance to your holiday decor. The class provides an array of vibrant, dyed wool in a spectrum of colors, allowing you to unleash your creativity and personalize your ornaments. To give them their signature shape, you'll select from an assortment of cookie cutters in a variety of whimsical designs - from classic stars and snowflakes to more unique shapes that will make your ornaments truly one-of-a-kind. And if you have a special cutter you'd like to use, you're welcome to bring it along. 

Over the course of the session, you'll handcraft a set of three ornaments, honing your felting skills with each creation. No prior experience is necessary, as the instructor will be on hand to provide all the instruction and support you need, ensuring you leave with beautiful, homemade ornaments that will be the envy of your friends and family. 

Our baby goats will accompany you during the class for some therapeutic snuggles and creative inspiration.
